After my book On the Grid came out, about infrastructure, I ended up working with the European Research Council to produce this piece about how cities are evolving to keep up with our needs. I like my writing, but their production is just amazing on this piece.

The North Carolina State Government in 2011 went mad and has been assaulting our state's environment (along with things like voting rights). I was thrilled and proud to work with the Southern Environmental Law Center to help shine a light on the damage they've done.
