Books of nonfiction by Scott Huler

My seventh book of nonfiction -- A Delicious Country, a retracing of John Lawson's journey of discovery through the Carolinas in 1700-1701 -- was published in 2019. The Lawson Trek, the project through which I undertook that journey, gives you full information on that enterprise. The publisher is UNC Press, and it came out in spring 2019. You can link to my previous books below. In 2021, Octane Press rereleased A Little Bit Sideways.

That's a link to the book, on the left. Above is a link to the Lawson Trek website. It's a good place to go if you want links to Lawson's book from 1709, to Carolina colonial history, and to limitless other ancillary topics that come up when you spend a decade thinking about someone long ago.
